It’s unhealthy to be outdoors. Stay inside, and when outside, wear a mask. It’s early June in New England, finally warm, and thanks to Canadian wildfires, the air is unsafe to breathe.
I turned to nature during the pandemic, but now I am closing every window I opened two weeks ago and wondering where I put my unused N95s so I can go outside.
I guess life has always turned in the moment. A virus, a war, wildfires. I guess the floor beneath us has always been a trapdoor.
The 9/11 report opens Tuesday, September 11, 2001 dawned temperate and nearly cloudless in the eastern United States. I am grateful for every fragile second I am given to experience, react, reflect, forget, and live.
Thanks, Aly, and ironic, definitely. The end of this air mass can't come soon enough...XO
You nailed the irony of having to wear a mask to breathe outdoors after Covid, the fresh air that kept us going by getting us outside 'relatively' unencumbered!
