1: and Arlo camera may be a better option. I’ve had family members with both and heard a lot of complaints about the subscription model for the ring camera.
2: I would very much like to see a picture of the rock as it could tell us a lot about where the rock came from.
3: this is the kind of prank I like (confusing, benign, just inconvenient enough to force someone to lightly engage with it) and I think it’s hysterical.
Luckily where we are the ring camera tells me benign things like the shade cover blew off the cactus and then I ask my neighbor to put it back for me and it tells when the gardener comes to cut the lawn and blow the leaves. Sometimes an errant dog pees on the lawn. A few day workers used the shade tree to have lunch. Those kinds of notifications I can handle.
I agree. Those notifications are just like informational updates and don't raise the blood pressure. The truth has been revealed and I never would have guessed- writing a follow-up Substack now! XO
Hmmmm..rocks have their own energy..grounding crystals …very interesting. Perhaps someone feels you ground the neighborhood an wanted to thank you. 🌀
What a lovely thought, and thank you! The mystery got solved earlier today. More to follow! XO!
I like the reading of the situation. Choosing to believe this.
Hmmm…would Jake or Micah do that!? Have you considered otherworldly beings?
They would, but both had alibis, and otherworldly kind of describes the actual culprit. More to follow, but no witches were ever present, alas.
ooooh I cannot wait to find out tomorrow! I love life's little details and surprises. I vote for witchcraft as well. Always...
The reveal is more prosaic! But witchcraft is my go-to, whenever something inexplicable happens...

You have the right attitude to love the explanation. Revelatory post on Thursday will include a picture of the rock...
Hell yeah, love me some rocks.
